De officiële blog van EA heeft informatie vrijgegeven over de voertuigen in battlefield 3:
- 20 verschillende voertuigen, verdeeld over 12 classes. Denk aan armored transports, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, choppers and jets.
- 80 unlockable specialization upgrades.
- Each customization class has three unlock slots – one secondary weapon slot, one gadget slot and one upgrade slot.
- Unlock more specialization for a particular vehicle by using and getting kills with it.
- Health regeneration for vehicles: vehicles will only regenerate health if they’re kept away from enemy fire and past a certain damage threshold.
- Past a certain damage threshold, vehicles will not recover armor.
